What does it really mean to be happy, and are the characters in Brave New World truly experiencing what it’s like to live in a perfect utopia? The characters in Brave New World constantly explain how they’re happy and content, but this is only because of oblivion and distraction. Even though this world is filled with distraction and poverty, is this world still a utopia?
