STEM ENGINEERING

Glider Project

In this project, the class split up into 3 teams to work together to create a 3D printed glider. In order to do this we had to do lots of research and testing. We ended up coming up with many different combinations of wings, weights, and stabilizers. The end goal was to create the farthest flying glider. I had decided to join the group Boeing, which was the group that focused on organization, and making a plan before acting. Our group ended up with the 2nd farthest flying glider (shown above on the far left).

After we finished this project we wrote essays on what had happened, and what we had learned (essay included under the Humanities 10 page).
